Now, none of us know exactly what or who The Black Parade is. So in this thread, please discuss and provide your theories on the subject, and supply whatever information you may possess on the matter.
1. Fanclub - This is a new My Chemical Romance fanclub, much like Overcast Kids or similar.
2. New Record - The Black Parade is the title of My Chem's upcoming record. (http://community.livejournal.com/chemicalromance/1689431.html?thread=34999383#t34999383)
3. A Band - another instance of My Chem's promotion of a band they're friends with. Personally, I find this theory rather unrealistic, because due to the diversity of the MCR fanbase, most of the bands they promote are known by fans beforehand- and it doesn't look like anyone knows of a band by this name, and there aren't any artists on myspace that go by that name either.
4. Something Else - who knows? But this information might be very important. There's also the theory that it's a wild goose chase like AFI has done before - I'm not an AFI fan, and know nothing about this so *shrug*.
, I've provided a few ideas discussed in threads in the chemicalromance post.
*rubs hands together* get discussing kids! C'mon, who doesn't love a bunch of nice conspiracy theorys involving the newest thing about My Chem? :D oh, and if the comm's members only, just tell me and I'll friendslock this post. :)
edit: and no, the new album isn't going to be titled "The Rise And Fall of My Chemical Romance". The Kerrang! article confirming this can be found here, and the exact quote is the second sentance of the last paragraph.
eta 2: I was ferretting around the MCRmy boards earlier, and in this thread, someone states that the IP addresses for mychemicalromance.com and theblackparade.com are the same. There's some other interesting bits of info there as well.
I can't make a thing out of any of that except that the mailing list address is one from MCR's label's site.
